Every advertisement needs to be visible. Outdoor advertisement is the great way how to really address the people in the place of their living or work. The process of planning and launching of the outdoor advertising campaign is difficult, that´s why we prepared 5 advices which can help you to reach the success.

1. The target audience

Many outdoor advertising entities address the wide audience, but in the case of not focusing on the audience which you need, your campaign would be ineffective.

Be sure that your outdoor advertisement is made according the behavior of the audience in the place of the placement of the ad. Think about the way of living of your target group, where they work, how they socialize themselves and travel.C

2. Timing

Every product or service has its season. Buy advertising spaces in the right time to ensure that your advertisement will be visible before and during the main selling season of your product or service (for instance, if we know that there will be the election in March and your product or service has its season from January, we recommend to make a reservation of the advertising spaces 2 months beforehand).

Likewise, do not underestimate the proper material for the given advertising space (for instance, if you plan your campaign during the winter or you plan some long term campaign, we recommend to choose the sail or the mash sail for billboards or megaboards, not the paper material).

3. Repeating

The advertisement works the best with the repeating. Customer needs to see your campaign 20 times before he starts to act. So, consider how many times will be your campaign seen by your target group.

4. Combination of the forms of advertising

Since the aim of advertising is to be visible always and everywhere, we recommend you to combine effectively different forms of advertising during your campaigns. For example, combination of billboards with the advertising on the social networks, PPC, banners in different webpages, advertising in the place of sale and so on.

5. Graphics

During the planning of your outdoor campaign, do not forget that billboard is the visual media and you have only a few seconds to catch the attention. Do you know how many words is too little and how many is too much? Did you try to include all telephone numbers into your billboard or megaboard and nobody is calling? The mistake may not be in the location of your advertisement, the cause may be somewhere else.
